EarlyIQ and The Private Capital Market Announce National Crowdfunding Marketing Partnership

Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC - January 22, 2016

EarlyIQ, the crowdfunding industry's leading accredited investor verification platform, and The Private Capital Market, Inc., of Raleigh, N.C., a capital markets advisor to technology companies, announced today the formation of a marketing alliance.

"We are pleased to add a unique advisory service partner for our clients to manage their Reg D 506(c) offerings," said David Trissel, CTO of EarlyIQ.

EarlyIQ provides multiple services to companies and platforms engaged in crowdfunding including:

  • Investor Verifications: This service conforms to the new regulations for companies to verify that all investors in their offering are considered to be "accredited investors," under the provisions of Rule 501 of Regulation D.
  • Diligence and Compliance: Industry-leading suite of tools and reports for diligence, regulatory compliance and fraud mitigation, including Bad Actor checks.
  • Early Stage Investment Optimized Deal Room: The industry's only deal room that is integrated with the investor verification process. EarlyIQ's Room 506 service allows potential investors to view offering documents immediately upon completion of the verification process. It then tracks and monitors the progress of each potential investor as they conduct their own self-guided due diligence on the offering.

"The Room 506 functionality is the best in the industry," said Thomas Vass, the President of The Private Capital Market (PCM). "I had created my own website that was a competitor to Room 506, and came to the realization that the EarlyIQ platform was superior to my own crowdfunding website. My advisory clients will be better served by my alliance with EarlyIQ," he added.

Under the terms of the marketing alliance, client companies of PCM will obtain a discount on the EarlyIQ fee and other added benefits. PCM will manage the vendor relationship with EarlyIQ on behalf of the client company.

"We expect to offer more partnerships with crowdfunding websites, law firms, CPA firms and other investment advisors in 2016," said Kim Yin, the CMO of EarlyIQ. "We have a neutral platform that can be used by the crowdfunding community who offer non-proprietary services, such as attorneys and registered investment advisors," she added.
