Our Leadership Team

 

Robert Hale

Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer

Robert is responsible for the science behind our products.  Having an extensive background in quantitative analysis, statistics, and data modeling, he brings a unique perspective and skill set in driving our Diligence 3.0 product vision.  Outside of Early IQ Robert successfully founded and operates a leading market research firm that specializes in quantitative modeling for new market sizing and new product development in technology for clients including Cisco, Microsoft, Qualcomm and Motorola.  He is the Vice Chair of the international Product Development and Management Association (PDMA).  He holds BS, MBA, MSEE degrees, and has passed CPA certification.  Robert’s unique background also includes public service as an FBI Special Agent where he was on a white collar crime squad that investigated financial, insurance and investment frauds.

David Trissel

Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer

David is responsible for all aspects of developing and delivering our products.  He's a Six Sigma Black Belt and Agile development expert whose technical foundation is in database modeling and design/management of complex databases.  He brings over a dozen years of software development management experience primarily in data and analytics hosted environments.  He has another dozen years of hands-on development and system design experience.  David earned his BS in Computer Science from Cal Poly University.

Steve Yin

Co-founder

Steve is responsible for overall company direction, leadership and operations.  He has over 15 years of senior and executive management experience in hosted and packaged software sales, marketing, and product management.  Prior to co-founding Early IQ, he provided executive leadership for companies in internet security and data analytics.  Steve earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Arizona, cum laude, and an MBA from USC.

Jason Best

Sherwood "Woodie" Neiss

Advisory Board Members

As  "founding fathers" of equity-based Crowdfunding in the United States, Jason and Woodie created the Crowdfund Investment Framework which, working with key Congressional members, ultimately became the cornerstone of the JOBS Act signed into law in 2012. Jason and Woodie, through their firm Crowdfund Capital Advisors, help provide unequaled crowdfunding expertise and exceptional insight into broader early stage capital markets.  As recognized leaders in the industry, they provide both strategic industry and company guidance as well as tactical support for our operations.  

Harold Gottschalk

Advisory Board Member

Harold brings over 30 years of technical entrepreneur experience including as a pioneering technologist in digital identity management and analytics.  Most recently he provided technical leadership to CSIdentity as their CTO and Chief Scientist.  Harold works closely with our technical team in data access, modeling, and system architecture.  And his specific expertise in identity fraud detection and management helps guide our product direction.
